Harvesting and production technique
The grapes are harvested in our vineyards towards the end of September when the grapes are perfectly ripe. After treading, it begins the maceration on the peels, and it lasts for 4/5 days. Once drained, the must ferments at 20/25°C.
Organoleptic characteristics
Colour: intense ruby red.
Bouquet: scents of plum, cherry and currant are perceptible. In warm years it also expresses mineral hints. In warm years it also expresses mineral hints.
Flavour: rightly tannic and therefore very pleasant and drinkable.
It’s excellent for pairing both white and red meats. Also pleasant with medium-aged cheeses.
The Malbech is a black grape variety that has spread in Italy in the mid-1800s and is now grown in many viticultural countries.
